Cyclic Redundency check?? dvdshrink

i was starting to shrink Italian Job and after 10 minutes it shows this error
...."cyclic redundency check" and stops

how do i rip it then?? or are there any other programs

try cleaning the disk or try dvddecrypter. Sometimes shrink will hiccup when ripping.

how do i shrink the file size with dvddecrypter????

once you rip with decrypter, then shrink with shrink. just select open files then look for video_ts.ifo. This is the movie, then you can shrink it

damn decrypter has an error too i think the disc is scratched

I've had problems with damaged dvd also. I have a fast dvd rom for ripping (16x) and if I put the dvd into my sony dru-510ax to rip (only 2x) it will sometimes work, since reading at slower speeds seem to do the trick on some dvds. Depends on how bad the dvd is.
