    i got a GSA4040B and i´ve seen screenshots here from ppl with the same burner and their Decryptering speed is about 5.1x i cant pass 1.8x

    can anyone tell me what to do?

    look for a hacked firmware at www.cdfreaks.com or www.rpc1.com. Most likely your burner is speed locked. The pioneer 106 has this issue as well. It is locked at 2.1x but I used a hacked firmware and now I can rip at 12.3x (higher than the rated speed of the read portion of my drive. Also keep in mind you can only read burnt dvd's up to the speed they were burnt at (or at least that is my experience).
