I don't have a dvd burner. My friend, who created his movied on a MAC doesn't have a good authoring program, but he does have a burner. I used Encore to create some great menus with his vid. I exported it as a DVD file(Video_TS) and a data2.0 (I forgot what its called). I then Transfered to MAC. No matter what I do, IDVD can't understand it. Am i basically screwed? Is there a format I can encode it to? MAC won't understand ISO's or BIN's

no.
iDVD is the authoring app for mac.Your friend could have authored the app with that and burned it afterwards. No matter....
Mac can understand ISO and BINs also by the way.
what burning software does your friend have? Hopefully Toast. You can easily burn the ISO or BIN with that app like you would on a PC.
Tell you friend to visit https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9 if he/she wants to learn more on how to use iDVD and or where to find other free authoring apps for Mac that will save you all this hastle in the future! -
Great thaks for the info,
the only reason we were using encore on a pc is because we wanted to create menus with a better software app than idvd. idvd wasn't reading the bin when i tried to transfer it, but i never thought of toast. Thanks
