Good point - I didn't take that into account. So, that makes my answer total bollocks then.

Ha, f***ing ha. B*st*rd. What's your Skype ID again...?

You're memory's too damn good! Made me laugh though (again). Wasn't it you who nearly cut themselves shaving on a Monday morning with a flash of recollection...?

I guess I'm not gonna live that one down... I just hope Indolikaa or Jeex don't get on my case (where are they?).

Did you have a go at the online puzzle? I found it quite addictive once it got more challenging...

I reckon northcat_8 would find it useful for his maths class...

Yes. I had recalled your reaction to the answer ...I think it was "evil bastard", and I happened to be shaving at the time. I burst into laughter, got shaving cream all over the place and damned near cut my own throat ...and if I recall your reply, you were a bit disappointed that I hadn't I believe I apologized already for that nasty trick ... ..so chin up, wot wot?

jeex is gone. I banned him a while back for some unpleasantness with another member. He's been on the verge of getting a heave-ho for a long time here.

Indolikaa is another matter. Best not bring it up when he's here But he's been busy with work. That should ease up soon though. I had lunch with him last week

I'll check it out. I don't do well with puzzles ....I get too frustrated, then I get a headache. It's enough of a puzzle why I get up every morning and go through the motions (see sig) ...well, that's another whine for another day

Sounds about right... Still, all good fun eh old boy? I'm saving that "nasty trick" to use on some poor unsuspecting fool so I can make myself feel better!

jeex? gone? Wow, I guess he took "pro badass" too far eh? Shame, I used to enjoy reading some of his blastings that he dished out - pretty close to the mark most of the time, but I guess he went too far.

There's a few pretenders (I won't mention names) who think they're bad guys, but not in the same class. Indo's about the only one I can think of... Tell him he's missed...

Yeah, I've seen your sig already - nice quote. Made me chuckle. One of your own?

    Have fun with the puzzle...

Indo can swap nasties with the best of them, but what distinguished jeex was jeex's pure hatred for his fellow man. He was a venemous, spiteful, hurtful, feces-flinging little monkey of a wanker.

Indo is a class act. jeex was a class joke.

Some of his posts were funny, and his earlier ones were even helpful, but he wasn't fit to be around humans anymore. Whatever demons he had, they finally won out and he finally crossed the line soundly with both feet. I don't miss him a bit

No, that was one I saw on the web ...I forget where. I thought it was very appropriate

Nicely put (and I really mean that - impressive volley of adjectives!). It's a shame when one's ego tips us over the edge or, as you say, he was just a nasty piece of work that went totally off the rails.

Maybe his family lived in too remote an area... Webbed feet and all that...?

    @ NamPla - What's "..."?

And the answer is... Or is that it? The answer is "..." (for the time being at least, anyway).

I think NamPla was just trying to point out that yours and Capmaster's mother's club meeting was hijacking the thread
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Hey guys

Years ago I stumbled across a crossnumber puzzle called Dog's Mead.
It is a great brain stretcher and requires logic and perseverance to solve.
A calculator is highly recommended. I have a hardcopy of the puzzle but I found it on-line at
    http://ga-software.alphalink.com.au/dogs/dogs.htm
    for your enjoyment.
It is possible to solve it, if you do it in less then half an hour you will be doing pretty good.

    Have fun . . .
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't after you . . .

@ JeeDub - "Dog's Mead". Looks tricky at first glance, something for a (long) coffee break I think!

I've printed it off, so I'll see how I get on...

OK. So what's the answer? It's been long enough...

And, JeeDub, if there's a legitimate solution to yours I just hope it's not too damn obvious that I'm missing it, and Capmaster ends up nearly slitting his own throat on a Monday morning...

    Killer up a tree...

Q: What's got 8 legs and, if it lands on you after it falls out of a tree, will kill you?

    A:

Note: Spiders will kill with their bite, not by landing on you...
