  1. Hi,

wouldn't it be nice if the process list would be saved. So that you can close it and when you re-open it all the processes would be there again.

I would find it quite usefull, for example if you startet a long list of tasks and you see that you cannot finish all by the time you have to turn off the computer.

BTW: I noticed, that sometimes you cannot add new processes. After some of the listed are finished you can add some more. I've tried to find a rule when this happens, but I couldn't find one. Sometime it happens after 10, sometimes after 30 processes.

  2. Why turn off at all..?

I run ffmpegX on a laptop, and just shut the lid to put it to sleep. ffmpegX continues where it left off when the system is woken up..

  3. I use ffmpegX on my computer at work. We have to shut down our computers at night and on the week ends for security and safety reasons. I cannot put it in sleep modus. You know, the cleaning people comes and has access to the whole network…

  4. Sorry, an encoding in progress can't be resumed after a shutdown.

  5. Hi,

thanx for the replys, I understand that a file in progress can't be resumed.

Just to be curious. If I create a new process, is there already a encoder launched waiting just to begin, or do you launch the encoder when the process starts.
