Hey im using Canopus ProCoder to convert my movies from avi to dvd but how am i sapose to know which video reloution size to use becuase all my movies are differnt resolutions?

When in doubt, use 352x480/576(NTSC/PAL). Anything larger will only magnify the avi's flaws.

You'll find varying theories on capture resolutions. You're converted video resolution is also up to you. Lower res means you can use less bitrate, which in turn means more video on a single DVD. I capture my stuff at 368x480 and crop to 352x480. I convert right at 352x480 with between 3000 and 4000 CBR bitrate. The audio can be pretty easily fixed if it is consistently early throughout the video. Virtualdub for one will do it...
