    I HAVE STARTED SAVING MY HOLIDAY FILM TO DVD, BUT DURING PLAYBACK ON THE TV IT FREEZES FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN WILL EVENTUALY FREEZE AND STOP ALTOGETHER. DURING PLAYBACK ON MY PC THERE IS NO PROBLEMS, HAS ANYONE ANY IDEA HOW I CAN RESOLVE THIS PROB AS I WOULD PREFER TO WATCH PLAYBACK ON MY TV.

    Please don't SHOUT . Using capital letters in a forum is considered shouting and makes it more difficult to read.

    Your problem could be one of a few things

    1 It could be poor media ( pcs are far more tolerant than standalone players)

    2 You could try a slower burn

    3 It might not be that your media is poor it may be that your standalone just doesn't like that particular make of DVD-R.

    Have you checked your players compatibility with playing dvd-r's in the players section on the left ?
    If it's wet, drink it
