  1. I'm trying to convert a dvd to divx using doom9's guide found here:

    http://www.doom9.org/gknot-main3.htm

My problem arises when I try and rip/demux the video using robot4rip. Using all of the default settings, I get the error message "Error: Indexing/demuxing failed: Can't create process." and then the program gives up. I've tried using different dvds, and I've tried ripping the dvd first (file mode) and then pointing r4r to the folder. Nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The full log (with the source set to the dvd ripped to a folder by dvddecrypter):

  2. figured it out... when you install the rippack from the doom9 website, it installs r2r and tells it the wrong location for dvd2avi
