  1. I used my dvdrecorder to tape something and I need to get it into adobe so that I can edit out the commercials and what not...

    how do I go from video_ts to mpeg2 or any format that will get it back to adobe

    Hi wilsondmb,

    I don't know much about DVD recorders, so may be off the mark here. But, as you've got a VIDEO_TS folder, I'm wondering whether you've got VOBs etc. in there?

    Also, when you say "adobe" you don't state which Adobe product you mean - I'm guessing you mean Premiere? And then, which version? I use version 6.0 and know that it's not designed to edit MPEGs.

    If all this guessing is correct, you should look into TMPGEnc DVD Author (among others) as that can take in VOB files and can edit, author and burn the finished article to DVD.

    Like I say, I may be off the mark but thought I'd try to help...
