Just got a Pan E50 and recorded a TV show using DVD-RAM. How would I go about convering to DVD-R or DVD+R.

There are two ways to find out. The easiest would be a forum search, and the other way is to post and make someone else find it for you: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=218459

My method is to use one of the following programs to import from DVD-RAM to hard drive, then author and burn to DVD-R:
TMPGEnc DVD Author (recommended)
Ulead DVD MovieFactory
I use 98SE as well, and I noticed that if the DVD-RAM is close to full, these programs don't recognize the VRO file any more. I presume this is because the VRO file is over the 4GB limit that 98SE will recognize. -
Great, glad it worked!
(I frequently keep commercials tho, they're fun to look at years later)
