MainConcept DV CODEC?

Is anyone using Mainconcept's DV CODEC? I was wondering what is different from M$ supplied DV CODEC (directshow).

Faster, better color (colour), etc...

I prefer the panasonic codec. i dont know why they made it RGB only but its ok since CCE can handle RGB. i might try Mainconcept if i need to use AVISynth for my DV to DVD conversions, will for sure not use canopus.

Update: Tried a Sony DV codec today, it was considerably darker in some colors compared to Panasonic, its still easy to chose what DV codec to use

I am also testing a bit with the different DV codecs.

The Mainconcept codec seems to be a bit sharper then the other codecs.
Not always the best option for my VHS conversions. Gives a little bit more noise in the picture.

Not so easy to choose the right codec it seems.
