How to convert VCD mpeg file to dat file?

I have a problem about convert vcd mpeg file to dat file format in my application.and save the dat file to my hard disk.
Would you can tell me ?

Where can get some source code about these convert?

Firstly, why do you want to do this? Converting an MPEG file to "DAT" does not help you in ANY way in authoring a VCD.

All VCD authoring proggies require you to have the source file in just the original VCD compliant MPEG.

If you really want to convert an MPEG to "DAT", you can use VCDGear to do it.
