Could someone please explain to me the difference between dvd-r/rw, dvd+rw / and dvd-ram. I am considering the pioneer A03 wich only does dvd-r (as well as cdr/rw) And the panisonic LF-D311 wich does dvd-ram and dvd-r. I was thinking it was cd size (4.7 for dvd-r and 9.4 for dvd-ram) however now im not so sure. Does anyone own either of these drives and could shed some light on my delimma

Search for "DVD FAQ" with Google: http://www.google.com
The DVD FAQ has quite a comprehensive section of the differences between the various types of recordable "DVD" media.
