  1. i just receievd a movie on vcd but the video is upside down. how do i fix this?

    Extract the mpg and load it into virtualdub and apply filter flip vertically and then frameserve to tmpgenc and re-encode.

    I doubt the movie was actually encoded upside down. Unless it was a joke, it seems like it would be pretty much impossible to make this mistake.

    It sounds more like a decoding problem to me. Are you playing this on your pc or your hardware dvd player? If its on your dvd player well then ignore me and listen to johns0 but if its on your pc then what are you using to play it with? I've seen this happen with crap decoders before (Elucard mpeg decoder=garbage). If you've got something like the Nimo codec installed then get rid of it.
