When I use dvtool v. 0.53 to cut a large mpg-1 file into smaller mpg-1 files I encounter a problem. The first piece is ok -- it will play on other Windoze XP machines and TMPGEnc will open the file on my machine. The remaining pieces will not play on other machines and TMPGEnc will not open these files on my machine. Surprisingly, all of the pieces do play on MY computer (using irfanview)! This is the case whether or not I check the sys header box in the options frame of dvtool.

I found a program that does the job for me using XP Pro: Easy Video Splitter (http://doeasier.org/).
