  1. I have committed a big mistake.I wanted to converted some old video 8 tapes to mpeg2.The video was created using a SONY CCDFX411.So I did some research and decided on buying a PLEXTOR CONVERTX,sounded like a simple process. My mistake was I assumed the camcorder had the right inputs(analog). But its a "RFU ADAPTOR"(1video&1audio),so I'm left with a extra plug (red)from the plextor with nowhere to plug it Is there an adapter that could use?Any idea's would help?thx in adavance

Sure, if you have a Radio Shack or audio store local, you can get a 'Y' RCA phono plug adapter to convert a mono source into a stereo input. There are both male and female versions available. If the plugs are a different type, you should still be able to find a suitable adapter, they're very common.
