Hi,
I went through the audio/video sync post and couldnt find an answer to my problem so I'm posting it. I recently did a VHS capture with my ati AIW radeon 8500 128mb video card. I used the MMC software, latest ver 9 I believe. Anyways the video turned out fine, no audio or video sync problems. It was about 16gb so of course I had to size it down with virtual dub. I chose xvid for the compression at 1600kbps and when I finished, my video and audio were out of sync. I'm not sure why this is the case since the original was fine. I then tried to compress the video w/o audio and ripped the audio with goldwave and put it together in nandub but again it was out of sync as before. Any ideas or a different method for encoding is in order?
