    When playing XviD movies with Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec I get loud and nice sound, but when I play XviD movies with AC3 Filter I get low sound... why?

    Is your sound card connected to the speakers via receiver? what sound card do you have?

    You can boost the audio with ac3 filter, under the start menu select ac3filter config and under Gain and drag it up to 20dB.

    Look at the picture, there isn't any AC3 Codec there, why?
