TmpGenc 1.5 DVD Author is fast but whenever I use it, synchronous problem occurs even on P4-512 DDR.

I use Snazzi 4 PCI. Its bundled program Winproducer is ver slow.
It takes more than an hour to convert an mpeg-2 file (70mnt- 6Mb- 2.3 GB) to VOB. Is it normal?

Isn't there any software which convert mpeg-2 to VOB fast and doesn't cause synchronous problem?

TmpGenc DVD Author does everything your looking for for me. I've used it several times and have never had sync problems? As far as you possibly believing your system is'nt up to spec for TmpGenc DVD Author. Your system is'nt any worse then mine! So there's something else going on.
Have you tried unistalling and reinstalling it? Also where are the Mpeg 2 files coming from? Are they captured home video or something else? And what software did you use to create the Mpeg 2 files?

I capture from analog video sources like vhs, beta and analog camcorders. I have snazzi 4 pci card. I use its own program Movie Studio S4 to capture mpeg-2 to hdd in realtime. But I must admit that I recently bought this card and I am regretful now. During capture, there is sync problem in preview window. When I check the mpeg2 file after capture, there is no sync problem. But whenever I convert it to VOB by TmpGenc, sync problem occurs. I tried TmpGenc for several times on new installed xp. I installed directx 9. There is no problem with my system.
(my cpu p4 2.5). Perhaps you must know that there is no audio chip on my capture card. It captures sound through my pci sound card. There is a stereo cable between capture card and sound card (Creative pci).

By the way, TmpGenc makes 1 GB long several vob files.
When I use Snazzi 4's bundled program Winproducer, there is no sync problem at all. But it is too slow. I have to wait for hours. And it doesn't cut vob to several files. It makes only one VOB file. Does it differ to software?
    Thank you for your help.
