  1. i encode the movie file with tmpgenc. Then i burn it with nero 6. But when i play it in my dvd player there is no sound. Is there some kind of settings that i kind to change.

    Does it play on your PC ok?


    You did play the mpeg after encoding to see if it was OK ? Before you used Nero.

  3. hmm not alot to go on here, but ill guess that ur "movie file" was an avi divx or xvid and it had mp3 or ac3 audio, what u do is b4 encoding with tmpgenc u extact the audio and save as a wav file, using virtual dub, load the video and on the file menu select save wav and use this audio in tmpgenc. if u still have the mpeg file just multiplex this wav file into the mpeg save u re-encoding

    like andyp1 said, have you tried it in your puter?

    i know my player is the main prob for me on this one. the optical connection doesnt read. i have to switch my reciever to analog and use component connections.
