  1. I've used several softwares to convert a VHS tape to DVD and can't get any of them to give VOB,IFO and BUP files like the DVDs have in their TS_VIDEO and TS_AUDIO folders. I end up with separate w2v and wav files or mpg.

Can you take a VHS and produce VOB, IFO, BUP files like an original DVD?

Software I'm trying is DVD Decryptor, DVD Shrink, TMPGEnc, WinDVD.

    Please help if you can

Anyone need a stack of toasted DVD-R cheap?

  3. you will need an authoring/burning app, such as TMPGenc DVD Author or similar. Such will convert dvd compliant mpg files into what you want.

    Hi tikktokk,

If you want freeware, check out ifoedit - as long as you don't want menu's and stuff - just straight VOBs, BUPs and IFOs.
