Ive tried a variety of VCD types 352x288, 352x240, PAL, NTSC, 23.? frames, 29 frames, 25 etc. Audio is at 44,100

And each and every single time, RecordNow Max will chop 10 minutes off the VCD even if its under the CD-r limit. (say a 40minute VCD will only burn 30 min).

Now before it starts to burn the .mpg, it 'coverts' it. Im thinking this is the problem. But I have the .mpg exactly to VCD specs so I don't understand why it would need to convert.

I've tried Nero and it goes through the convert thing too but when it's done converting it's at a wide screen shot and the picture wasn't meant for that and is not what I want.

any ideas/help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
