    I have installed MMC 7.1 and all programs (VCD/DVD etc...) are working except the TV tuner - even though all I want to do is capture from SVHS or COMPOSITE. When I start up it insists on running the Tuner Wizard, but when I go to auto-scan, there is no region selection in the drop down box so I can't. This means I cannot auto-scan and have to close the wizard and can't open the TV to capture. This is really annoying. Is there something I have to do to set the region?

    i have to go thru the installation wizard every time i start the tv app. i just click next every time...bypassing every thing. this seems to work for me. you might give it a try.

    if you are using an all in wonder radeon why don't you upgrade to a newer version of mmc. i'm using version 8.8 on a very old 32 mb radeon.
