I'm using DVD-lab for makind dvd's for my stand-alone player...
As imput-format, I use SVCD, the program de-multiplexes the .mpg file in a .mpv (video-stream) and .mpa (audio-stream 48 kHz)...
I want to attach subtitles to my dvd, so I can view the subtitles with my dvd-player...
Which guide do I have to follow? A guide for switchable subtitles or a guide for permanent subtitles?
This is what I already did:
synchronised the .srt-file with the movie...
converted the .srt-file to .ssa
converted the .ssa to .sub with maestroSBT
then I tried multiplexing the .mpg file with the .sub file with winsubmux, when I go to 'preview', I can see my subtitles with a grey background (no movie), when I click on 'multiplex', the program tells me 'subtitle... inserted at ... ', everything looks alright, but when I open the .mpg-file, I don't see any subtitles...
then I used this .mpg-file in dvd-lab and made my dvd-files with it (video_ts --> .vob, .ifo.... audio_ts), i loaded them with powerdvd, and then again, no subtitles....
What do I do wrong???
plz answer this one.... I'm quite hopeless![]()
