i was in school with a girl whose folks' own skirmish. we all went one day and had a great laugh! i remember we were playing capture the flag - enemy base had a about 10 people inside, there were six of us hidden behind a long bush. i say "ok, i'll go round and distract them, you take them out from here!" ran to the far side of the bush, took a deep breath, leapt out and started screaming, paint balls flying. i got hit by pelt after pelt, and as i lay on the floor going "argh!" (and still being shot at) my team-mate shouted "what the **** did you do that for?!" seems they didn't hear me....
Looked pretty purple in the morning!
My mum went paintballing a long time ago, she got shot in the back of the hand and wasn't wearing gloves! that was NOT pretty.....
As for phoenix nights, i totally don't remember that bit! i remember his dodgy girlfriend, but not pballing. i remember Tim shooting Dwayne in Spaced though... hehehe.
Also in Phoenix nights, bonus material - brian potter on the BBC wheelchair team ad's, comedy gold

I used to be into paintball games big time.
I have a scar on my leg and chest from one guy about 8 years ago. He was using frozen paintballs during the game. The rules state this was an automatic sentence to a firing squad. using his ammo....12 of us torn this guy up. It also took a few of us to tie him to the pole. He never showed up again
