  2. Yes. If you get hit somewhere fleshy, I found it left bruises. However, you'll be having so much fun you won't notice, I promise.

  4. I haven't seen them, but then I just went the once with my mates from uni. I would have thought it would be a bit unfair - pinging your mate in the back of the knee is so much more fun!

Ask at the beginning, and hold a poll to see if people want them. Remember and include a tgpo option!

yeh, you can get paint grenades and bloody good fun they are too,
its right though you won't notice the pain while playing its the following morning all the ball shape bruises start playing up, Well worth it though.
oh! if you play a game called "watch the president" don't volunteer to be the president, i did and i got shot about 20 times from point blank range when they found me(the marshall gave the other team a bollocking though, you supposed to give the chance to surrender).

  9. dude, you'll never be a professional badass if you fear pain. pain is a fact of life, but i'd rather be a badass in pain than a pussy hiding like a bitch and avoiding it.

Anyone ever see that sketch from Phoenix Nights 2 when Brian Potter went paintballing with his girlfriend?
    Man, that was funny stuff.

For those of you that didn't.....
....wheelchair bound members of our society make good targets

Great show, and not afraid to tackle this politically incorrect bollocks everyone seems to suffer nowadays.

If you haven't seen it yankie members; get it; you'll love it (but not understand it; why would you, you're Americans!)

Take your head out of your arse for a second gramps, go get your shot of whatever keeps your spine straight on a morning and stop embarrassing your nation.
Your post might just be the most laughable thing I've ever seen, considering you've never seen the show and considering your nation is the most intolerent of other cultures on the planet
Man, for all your years you sure have a lot to learn pops.
If you bothered to learn you'd see why the sketch is so funny, but you don't want to, do you?
Another example of why the US weent down the drain twenty year ago...
....thanks for proving my point so ignorantly

If I have to learn to be like you, I would consider it to be a waste of flesh and life. You see, shooting at wheel chair bound people is not my idea of good humor. And as for intolerance, I never said anything about other cultures. England may have given the modern world abolitionism and chilavlry, but it also gave it bull baiting, bear baiting, and granny bashing.

If I believe in the brotherhood of all men means I have my head where it should not be, as proposed in your post, come on in, the water's fine.

    P.S. How's the newest Hay?

Like I said gramps, the entire six part show is about a wheelchair-bound person, and it is far from 'taking a shot' at wheelchair bound folk.
Unlike the yanks our prgramme makers are not afraid to takle these issues, our characters are not all supermodels in bikinis running down the beach or living in beverley hills 75698, they're real poeple and again, unlike the yanks, when we tackle sensitive issues we don't portray people with disabilities as second class citizens.

You're comments, like I said, prove my point, insofar your culture is blinkered, arrogant and above all; unreal.

"...oh my Goodness, there's someone in a wheelchair in a show, how dare they show such a thing?"

Oh, and granny-bashers, are you for real???
    Thanks for that one
My tolerence of all did indeed stretch to 'everyone', until now that is.
Shit, that's another quality of mine you've buggered up pops.

If you can't laugh at a stetch involving a chap in a wheelchair who suggests paintballing to his girlfried and then gets shot by her, repeatedly, then I am truly sorry for you and your kind.

You were on a roll until you came up with the "me and my kind" phrase. You had set up yourself beautifully as a open-minded wordly thinker. But with one fell swoop, you let us "peek your hole card", and let us see your true colors: a raving bigot.

I was actually referring to you and your family, but didn't want to go that far, again, thanks for 'assuming', that sure is a trait for which you must be so pruod.
I sympathise with your children, for they've been taught your values and stand no chance.
You are without doubt the most anal contributor to this site I have ever come across, but this is an opinion I've always held.
Please, throw the racist card in there too, it befits such an ignorant ape as yourself, completely self-opiniated, raging against everything and ultimately on a very fast march to death whilst trying to fight everything along the way.
Without doubt your elevated opinion on things you have no idea of is your biggest charactor flaw.

There was no mention of my family until this last post. If my views on mutual respect, brotherhood, and avoiding dark humor keeps me on your bad side, so be it.

If I assumed your lumping me into any group of people who all share the same views makes you a bigot, then "that's the way it crumbles -- cookie-wise" (Wilder). You really need to get past your dislike of me, my age, my predisposition to speak out against your views of what you call healthy entertainment.

Take a step back, what you think is funny really isn't, my esteemed English colleague.

Okay, so be it, although I'm disapointed anyone would form such an unhealthly opinion before seeing this same sketch.

She was home the day after, 30th March, this birth was a breeze compared to the last, we were both scared we'd get a repeat of the last but luckily it wasn't to be.
This birth was how I envisaged the first (Daniel) to be, and it was, a absolute humbling, pruod moment.
Everyone fine, and my two year old boy taking good care of her.

  29. OK -- my interest is now peaked. I must now see the Phoenix 2 paintball skit. Any thoughts on how I could obtain or watch said clip?

Unless of course it would be considered Warez.

  30. Right I have just got back, whoever said it did not hurt is a ******* twat, I am covered, feels like I have 2 bloody knees, and this is with 8 pints to soothe the pain, I look like a five year old with chicken pox.

On the good news out of 100 people our team of 25 came first by miles

Check out my poor arm, excuse the shot, pissed and taking the photo myself as the missus is out on the razz.

    AND MY KNEE

Excuse the low qual, but I had to lower the file size

They pictures do not really do them justice, but the hurt like a bastad, and they are without a doubt the WORST bruises I have ever had.
