    I'm trying to cutt part of the .rm file up in a clip and I'm wondering what would I use to do so? Thanks.

    I would suggest converting the .rm file (Real file format), to AVI first (better file format to work with). I would use a tool like EO Video (do a search in the tools section --> RM to AVI, you'll find stuff there). After you have done this, I would use VirtualDub to cut the parts out (if you are on a budget and do not want to spent money on an editing program). If I were doing it, I would use Premiere just because it's fast and easy. Hope this helps!

    +If you want to eliminate the step of converting, there may be a filter for VDub that you can use to import .RM files (or maybe it already does). I have never worked with this type of file before so I don't know. Personally, I think that this format is terrible, and the quality really lacks.
