Hi all,
Quick question; does workshop 2 provide a way to ensure there's an "end action" at the end of a button nav?
For example, I want to put one long .vob but broken up into 133 chapter points. That way, the user has the option of either playing the whole thing, or just jumping to all the segments individually.
However, once they jump to a chapter point, once the chapter point segment is over, I would like the user to be brought back to the main menu so they can choose another chapter point.
Is there a way to do this in Workshop 2? I know in Encore and many others, you can just add an End action funtion to each button..but I don't know if workshop 2 can do that as well..
Thanks!

Yes - this is possible in Ulead DVD Workshop 2.0.
You can set "end actions" - as you call them - using the PLAYLISTS feature of Ulead DVD Workshop 2.0.
After you link a TITLE LIST video to a specific button in your preview window, look to the left side of the interface and then click the BUTTON tab and you'll see the PLAYLIST that is created.
The default is for the viewer to be returned to the menu - following playback of a specific TITLE.

Thank you for the reply!
I have been trying the playlist in the demo, but I am unsure of something...
I thought a title was just a video clip? I am aware that at the end of a video clip, it just defaults back to the menu it was played from.
However, what happens if there are tons of chapter points in one huge video? How do you get it to stop playing at the end of one chapter point and go back to the menu? I don't that option anywhere..
Just to clarify, instead of breaking up my 2 hour instructional video into 133 titles (individual clips), I would rather be able to just add the chapter points to the whole huge video, and allow them to navigate that way.
And if they reach the end of a chapter point, (but not the end of a clip), it just goes back to the menu where they can select another.
Maybe I'm missing something here... do I have to edit the same 2 hour video into 133 clips in order for this to work? How can I go about doing this.. Workshops documentation is a bit weak in this area, unfortunately, and I need to know that one crucial thing before I purchase it..
Thank you!
