  1. While attempting to backup a valued dvd, I noticed it was 6.3 GB in size. For my own curiosity, I wonder how it is possible to store 6.3 on a single-sided, single-layer dvd.

Again, Thanx in advance and you guys have thus far been a GREAT resource for this newbie.

  3. Have you even bothered to browse this site? I can't believe I'm going to reply to this, I would think it a joke except that you sound so damn earnest. Well enough poking fun here it is:

    DVD SHRINK!!!

Yes DVD Shrink. You can find it in the tools section under "DVD to DVD". It will SHRINK (i.e. Transcode) that 6.3 GB Disc into a 4.3 GB Disc. Or just click on the red DVD Shrink link above this paragraph.

It's one of the best DVD Transcoders out there. In my humble opinion THE best transcoder out there (that comment may just get me flamed on this thread). Best of all it's FREE! It's easy to use and It works as well as any similar aplication out there. GO NOW! Run and get DVD Shrink! Learn it...Live it...Love it...
Look, let me explain something. I'm not Mr. Lebowski; you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or Duder. His Dudeness. Or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing--
