Hi there,
I have a digital Camera and whant to view the pics also on my DVD-Player. So my question is. What is the best way, to make a photocd witch I can play on my VCD/DVD-Player?
Or do anyone of you know, how I can make a mpg or avi File from a Powerpoint presentation?
Also i whant to ask if its possible to open a new folder: PhotoCD. Beceause i am sure that many from us has also a digtial camera.

There is a proprietary Kodak format called PhotoCD. That is long dead so I presume that you don't mean that.
You probably mean putting photos on a VCD right?
This has been covered a lot of times (even recently). You should do a search on the forums and you'll find the information you want.
I wrote an article with some tips which are relevant here: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/mpeg_still_images.html
WinOnCD3.8 can create a "photo disc" on VCD. There's a relatively new proggy/plug-in by Ulead that apparently does this pretty well too (use search).
Regards.

I have used Ulead DVD Picture IT and it kicks ass. It can use background music, background images, great menu's, stable burning engine, fair price.

It is a pity that Ulead DVD PictureShow does not output standard ISO-image file. If it could output standard ISO file, then we can extract the mpeg files and let vcdimager to finetune some playing flowchart.

your referring to the .idx or whatever? Why not just use blindread to get your .bin .cue if needs be. The only proprietary format is the .idx which means you need to use their built-in software for burning. It's works great. Here's my tips for it.

Ok I just wasted about an hour and a half. Why? I didn't want my PhotoVCD with 25 slideshows for any of the mp3s to loop. That means each mp3 duration must equal or exceed the # of photos in the slideshow X Delay time. I kinda posted my method on my page. Link is in above post. If anyone knows of a simpler way...I'm all ears.
