I was thinking of getting the Pioneer DVR 5100. I was wondering, can the Sky + box control the Pioneer DVR 5100 recordings via the S-VHS output of the Sky + box?

I thought of doing something similar, but using the old VCR mouse on my Sony DSS receiver. It used to turn the VCR on and start the recording. Nice since there was only one timer to set. Now it's two timers since the VCR mouse codes aren't compatible with a DVD recorder. I'd love to see a hack for it, but there probably aren't enough out there to make it worthwhile.
