Hi,
Having become exasperated with Pinnacle 8 not supporting my DVD writer (an NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A 1.80) I decided to invest in Pinnacle 9 as the Pinnacle website indicated that it supported my burner. And it does...however, when I burn the output is completely incomprehensible to any DVD player I own (tried 3 so far!). So...I browsed this website and found that I could render the movie in Pinnacle 9 and then use the free tools ImgTool and DVD Decrypter to burn my DVD. Perfect, the DVD works fine on my home player.
However....
The audio is out of sync now. It gets worse as the video continues. I have spent alot of time perusing these forums looking for answers. My problem is that I like the Pinnacle editing tools and the menus they provide. I tried the trialware version of TMPGenc DVDAuthor when I was using Studio 8 and the DVD was authored OK but I didn't really like the limited menus available. Also I'm tight, so having spent 40 quid on Studio 9 I don't want to have to spend loads more on other software to get my final DVDs how I want them.
To my question then...how can I get the audio in sync with the video using the Pinnacle 9 renderer and the ImgTool and DVDCreator tools (I am pretty sure that these have nothing to do with the problem but the more information the better really.
In the Make Movies Settings there seems to be little scope for setting the bit rates for the renderer.
Any advise will be gratefully received.
