  1. What's the best DVD authoring program to use to produce DVDs from avi/mpeg?? Ulead Mediastudio Pro 7 is good, but sometimes it has problems if there's different sound format in different section of the movie.
    TMPGENC DVD author is able to handle this, but the quality of encoding is not quite as good as Mediastudio Pro7.

    Also I need a DVD author program that can create a Title menu as a picture and the word 'play'. I don't want a program that create a picture and another subpicture for the title menu like Ulead DVD factory. What's a good program??

    Encode on your own.

    Then use a good authoring app later. DVDit! would author fine, but not encode fine.
