  1. Hi all,
    I'm looking for a good editing programme for avi files, anybody know a good programme, tried a couple but need something simple.
    will try any and willing to pay a little.

  2. I guess it depends on what you want to do with editing. If it's just cut the video then Virtualdub is good and free. Then you can jump all the way up to pro products like Premiere Pro or Vegas Video

    Have a look at Puremotion Editstudio. Very easy to use, affordable, and has advanced features for when you get more ambitious. Excellent tech support and user forum. MPEGXS plugin for encoding to MPEG2 (it uses the Mainconcept engine.)
