What happen if you create a SVCD but put a mp1 file instead of a mpg2
Will that be playable ?

If it's MPEG-1 then it has to be an XVCD (X = non-standard).
Check out the blue definitions on the top left of the screen, you'll see a few examples.
The only way to know I suppose is to burn to a CD-RW and give it a shot. There's an awful lot of variables to accurately predict. If you want to try, tell us what your DVD player is, and the details of the file you're outputting.
As I say though, you're best giving it a shot on a small segment of video, burning to a CD-RW (so it doesn't matter about messing it up) and trying it out!
