hello everyone!!
I was wondering if anyone has used avi-mux gui to change framerate? if so is it good and is it easy for a newb to use? thanks in advance

I use AVI MUX GUI all the time and I'm relatively sure that you can't change frame rates with it. Use Virtualdub instead but you will have to use a seperate audio editor to change the audio frame frate. Vdub only changes the video frame rate. Once you have both the audio and video converted, then use AVI MUX GUI to combine the two.

I was probably getting confused. trying to follow a guide for changing ntsc 23.97 & 29.97 to pal and part of it was using avifrate to change the fps, I cannot get avifrate to open so I did a search and avi-mux gui came up it does say "allows changing framerate" so I presumed it might work the same way. I'm using tmpgenc but they come out jumpy like it needs speeding up a bit
