I've got an avi-movie with video at 12.500 fps and sound at 44.1 KHz I'm going to convert to PAL DVD.

    1. I've convertet the ripped audio with MP3 Converter from 44.1 to 48 KHz. The file size is 1.494.000 kB.

    2. And I've done the same with BeSweet (framerateconversion 12.500 to 25.000). The file size is 747.000 kB.

Both are now 48 KHz PCM Wav...

With VirtualDub I've also converted video from 12.500 to 25.000 fps.

Will both (1 and 2) be syncronized with video, even if the filesize is different when encoding with TMPEnc?

hmmm... If I've got my brains logic circuits set up correctly, you shouldn't have to do a frame rate conversion on the audio, just upsample it to 48 kHz, since the running time of the video will be unchanged. ...if your frame rate conversion process didn't involve making video play twice as fast, of course!
    I'd say: Skip step 2.

    Yepp!

I skipped step 2, and step 1 works like a charm....

By the way: Framerate conversion in BeSweet gave me a funny audio-file, but there are no fun listening to smurfs...
