    Can I change the format mov to avi ?
    How can I change my old movie VHS to DVD ?

    There's two basic ways:

    You can capture your footage on your computer then burn it with a DVD writer. This can be difficult for a beginner or newbie.

    Get a DVD recorder and feed your vcr into it. Simple, easy and good results.

    If the VHS is protected with Macrovision you will also need a SCART-cable that disables MV between the VHS-player and the DVD-recorder.
