  1. i have an xvid file, 23.976fps, it is pretty long, but when i encode it the mpeg2 file is about 10 seconds shorter than the original xvid file and this screws up the timing of the subtitles. The thing is, it doesn't just shorten at one point, it gradually shortens in the whole movie.

    I'm encoding using TMPGEnc to dvdmpeg2, everything complies with dvd standards, but the resulting encoded file is about 10 seconds shorter.

    Can someone please help me!!
