I am searching a simple method to backup DVD with original menu using TMPGENC.
I would like to use the TMPGENC to recompress the movie in order to fit in one DVD. The good software DVDShrink is great but when the compression ratio is about 55%, the final quality is reduced. And the TMPGENC gives enough good quality for such low data rate so I could fit the whole movie (about 2:30 hours) in one DVD.
I was able to use TMPGENC and IfoEdit to make a new DVD without original menu (this method allowed me to keep the multiple AC3 sound tracks and original chapters). Now, I would like to keep the original menu. Is it possible to compress the main movie using TMPGENC and to recombine the result back to original DVD? I found similar guides but the guides were for CCE, not for TMPGENC.
Thank you ahead for your responses.
