Hello.
I just bought a DVD boxset. It is "keeping up appearances" from BBC America.
Since English is not my primary language, I thought it would be no problem, as the DVD is closed captioned and I read english good enough.
The thing is I thought closed captions were subtitles. They aren't and my PAL (european) TV cannot read them. So, I found this program, vobsub, which could turn closed captions into subrip subtitles.
But it doesn't work correctly. Actually only some sentences are captures (maybe one out of three).
Does anybody know if I'm doing soemthing wrong or if vobsub is the one to blame for bad work ?
Thank you,
Xavier
