    MainConcept has released an MPEG Editing PlugIn for Premiere Pro which enables native MPEG Editing, including smartrendering and requantization, inside Premiere Pro.

    Both SD and HD versions are available. The HD version supports the JVC JY-HD10U HD Camcorder.

    This needs to be added into the "Tools" section. I've looked at the trial version and it appears very powerful for mpeg editing within premiere. One very useful feature I ran across almost by accident is that it has drivers allowing capture from proprietary Dazzle devices like my DVC-150.

    thanks for reminding me...I forgot to add it...or actually I just thought that it was a updated mainconcept mpeg1/mpeg2 export plugin to adobe.
