First of all I should know better than even try with those d a m n Brturbo files, but
here is my sad story.
I downloaded "Once upon a time in Mexico" from a Brturbo link. I used Flashget.
when the file was complete, the download section of Flashget, stated that it
downloaded a total of 717,172KB which sounds about right.
When I went to my download directory here is what I saw:
Once.Upon.A.Time.In.Mexico. DVD Rip-iMBT...Visite 0 KB VISITE File
What happened to the 717,172 Kb File????
Plus what the H e l l is a VISITE File?
Here is problem number 2
Again that lovely Brturbo.
I downloadedalli-100mile-xvid.001 14,594 KB Split Files
to alli-100mile-xvid.047
All looked Fine when I checked my download directory. I used "hjsplit" to join all of the files. Once they were all joined into one file :alli-100mile-xvid 682,969 KB
there is NO extension! so I tried all of the media extensions: .avi , .mpg etc.
when I renamed the file using the different extensions, here is what happened:
None of the programs associated with the media files, could read the file, it just
gave me a notice of "unknown file"
So what gives??????
Hours and days spent on two files that are worthless!
I sure would appreciate it if someone could shed some light on these two problems.
Thanks
