  1. hey i have a msi geforce4 mx440-vtd8x and it gives me the option to hook either composite or s-video up to the card. it took me a while to figure out how to get everything configured but i finally did.

my question is the only way to play my ps2 on my computer is through video capturing software. it only shows up in a little box for previewing befor i record. thats all fine and dandy if i wanna record but i just want to play the ps2 on the monitor in full screen. im guessing im just not looking for the right software or something so i figured i would come as you guys

Why not get the adapter that lets you plug the ps2 directly into your monitor?

Adapters are under $20 and you get a much better picture,if you want a crappy picture with video in then try a program such as powervcr2.

  5. viewsonic & Planar both make a vga adapter box with remote control so you can use your lcd monitor as a tv.....

some cards let you use your video input as a desktop or a screensaver, so you see it full screen, those might work if you want to plug in your ps2 (ps2 games aren't written for vga, so they don't look much better, kinda fuzzy).
