    I have a quality problem when converting with Tmpgenc videos captured from my miniDV.There are horizontal/ vertical lines. I believe the problem is referred to as 'pixelation'. The attached picture shows my problem. Is it settings ? I followed the guides on this site.

    The image looks like interlacing. If your video is to be watched on TV, they won't appear. If you have another destination for them, deinterlacing would be appropriate.
