I have just upgraded my m/b, ram and p/s and case. I have used my existing xp2100+ and A06 burner in the setup. before the upgrade I could burn at 4* speed using -r media with the read buffer set at 100% and the write buffer at 90%-95%. Now it varies wildly and I have to burn at 2* otherwise it behaves badly i.e read buffer at 50% , write buffer at 8% to 95%. I have the burner as Secondary master and nothing else on the channel. the storage disks are on a pci-ide card. any help would be apreciated.
