  2. Hi!
If your mpeg file contains subtitles, then you can burn it to a CD or DVD using Nero or some other burning software.

  4. Hi!
First you have to multiplex your subs with your SVCD-File. After that's done you can then use Nero or some other burning software to burn the SVCD-File.

    Look in this guide http://www.how-to-convert.com/ask_us/a7042003.htm

Problem is, not many players support selectable SVCD subs. Your best bet is to reencode the mpg and fit it with permanent subs. Use the mpeg2 enabled version of VirtualDub and the subtitler filter and frame serve to the encoder.

  6. Im actually trying to burn it as a vcd rather thatn a svcd, but i dont understand how to get the subs to stick to the movie file, when i go to record it. Each time i take the movie file and put it in the recorder screen and that goes fine but when i try to use the .sub or the .idx file it says unrecognized so what do i have to do to stick the subs into the movie itslef to just go ahead and mke the vcd ???

  7. Ok, but VCD doesn't support selectable subtitles, as SVCD does. However, you can add permanent subtitles to you VCD file, but then they will always be visible every time you watch your VCD.

There's a lot of guides of how you can do this. Take a look in some of these guides.
