Still having problems

I tired doing this..STEP BY STEP

I got the Illegal Stream message

was suggested i do this

and still having problems..i followed it step by step on numerous tries. Are there any other solutions that could work? I use Windows XP i do have ME running on my other drive..could that change the solution..I dont think its a OS issue but one never knows.

Are you using Virtual Dub mod, or another version?

Thanks man..I was using the regular VDUB..hopefully this Vdub link helps the chaos
