Discovered Recode profiles in lower right hand corner. HandHeld is one of the options which works for my PocketPC (running windows 2003)

have made a test video using recode to put on SD chip for playback (note do this with mpeg 1s and wmvs now) I have for playback on the device
Windows media player 9 (pocket pc of course)
    Pocket Divx
    Pocket MVP
Pocket TV (only plays mpeg 1s)

i can see the file created is a .mp4. this WILL playback on my HOME computer in Windows mediaplayer 9 (yes the codecs are there) also in neroshowtime of course as well as Quicktime from apple.

The file type is not recognized on the handheld in any of the players

any ideas (yeah the first one was download the codecs) next ?

    thanks

#1 get rid of pocket divx...pocket tv is ok but all your really need is pocket mvp.

i wouldnt use nero recode to make the file...best way is use xmpeg or flaskmpeg useing divx or xvid codec and for the audio set it to mp3. you can even use tmpegencode if you want an mpeg file, to make the file small enough you just have to mess with the settings.
