Hey all, I just purchased QT Pro to edit and convert .mov files to burn onto dvd. Problem is - only half of my .mov files are viewable now. Some work fine and others show a blank white screen while only audio plays. I either get a message that says "QT was not able to d/l software to display this movie file" or "the required compressor could not be found". I previously had QTalternative installed and ALL my .mov files played perfectly. I went to Apple's website and got the runaround over and over again before giving up. Any ideas how to fix this? I'm running WinXP if that helps.

Well, I just downloaded an older version (5.0). Uninstalled 6.5 and installed the 5.0 and it works perfectly. Before I did this, I emailed Apple and got no response. I posted this problem on two different forums and got the same answer (that it's the software). I guess this proved everybody right. Hey, old or new software, it doesn't matter to me just as long as it works (and I know that I'm not out $30).
